About Me

Brandy Garcia
I chose to take Government this semester instead of putting it off because I am extremely interested in learning how policy is created as well as the hierarchy of government. Based on my political ideology I am a Next Generation Democrat, which is no surprise to me. Before the 2016 election, my political experiences were limited to voting in local and general elections since 2014. Since last November, I began following many political podcasts. Some are purely fact based and others swing left or right. I scored 9/10 on both quizzes. To me, government and politics are two separate things, and we hear enough about the “politics” through the media. I would like to learn the history of government and its original purpose.
